These are full time positions with the opportunity for year round employment work doing snow removal work (plowing or shoveling) in the winter.
Landscaping
Landscape Foreman
We are looking for hardworking candidates that are passionate about landscaping and enjoy working outdoors. We are also looking for hands on type people that love working in the field. We understand that the seasonality of this business can be a problem for some people, which is why we are offering guaranteed annual pay for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record insurable under the company policy
- 3+ years landscaping experience
- Ability to obtain a DOT health card
- 1 year landscape foreman experience
- Ability to read and work off of landscape designs
- Skills and experience with patios, grading, retaining wall, irrigation systems
- Ability to train and supervise crew members
- Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks per bid requirements
- Experience working with equipment: bobcat, trucks, trailers and other landscaping equipment
- Ability to safely perform physical labor, bending, pulling and lifting 50 lbs or more
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5 years landscape foreman experience
- DOT health card
- Snow removal experience

This position is full time, with a salary of $38,000 to $50,000/year or $18-$25/hour, DOQ
Office and Administration
Landscape Designer
KG Landscape, a leading landscape design/build and maintenance services company, is hiring for a landscape designer position. KG Landscape Management was established in 2003 and has been expanding ever since. Our facility is located in Blaine, and we perform services all over the Twin Cities metro with project sizes ranging from $5,000-$150,000. KG Landscape currently has four (4) in-house landscape installation crews that install the entire spectrum of hardscape and softscape services typically offered by landscape design/build companies. We are looking for someone who can design projects for customers and communicate all of the details involved in those projects to our project manager and/or foreman. Skills
- Experience installing, designing, and/or estimating landscape projects. Landscape project estimating and designing could include plantings, edging, retaining walls, sidewalks, drainage solutions, paver patios, lighting, and other services.
- Design experience using Dynascape landscape design software or another CAD software is required. Knowledge about 3-d modeling with sketch-up would be a plus. Designs will also require field measurements and estimates so experience in that area is also crucial.
- Comfortable meeting in person with clients and/or speaking over the phone with them. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable meeting landscape crews on site to describe key services or answer questions/concerns if need be.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is key for writing and presenting bids. Our company uses Google Drive as well so knowledge of that would be a plus.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to change. A highly organized individual will also have a leg up on the competition.
Requirements:
At least 3 years landscape industry experience
Ideally 2 or 4 year degree. Preference to horticulture/landscape design/turf science focus.
